Kaylynn had a reaction to Almonds. The first time she got sores around her mouth, the second time she got the rash all over. She is officially off Almonds. She does ok with peanut butter. Her doctor said usually allergies to tree nuts are a different type of allergy, and peanuts aren't a tree nut. I'm leary to give her any other nuts, as the reactions tend to get worse each time one is exposed to the allergen.

I think Easton is allergic to almonds as well. I am scared to give him other nuts now. My pediatrician told me to take him to an allergen specialist, but we haven't made it yet.
